We can sand, colour and finish all types of solid wood flooring and some types of engineered flooring. We use the highest quality sanding equipment to produce smooth flat and mark free finish. When sanding a floor we try to take the smallest amount of wood off the surface to maximise the life of the flooring.

All of our machinery has non-marking contact points, so that we dont damage skirting boards or architecture.

We can finish our sanded flooring with any one of the finishes listed below;

Varnish,

We use Bonakemi water based varnish, it comes in different grades of wear and also different levels of sheen, Bonakemi are the leading manufacturer in water based varnishes.

Teak Finger parquet, finished with satin water based varnish.

 

Hardwax Oil,

We use Osmo hardwax oil for finishing some flooring, this is the most durable and best looking hardwax oil available, it gives a more natural look to some types of wood and with the correct maintenance and care may never need sanding again.

Oils,

Oil finishes are made from natural oils and some solvents (for drying), This gives a wooden floor a very natural look and gives a very matt finish,  oils are resistant to most types of wear but require more maintenance than most finishes.

Wax,

A wax finish is made from natural ingredients plus a small amount of solvent (for drying), it will give a wooden floor a varying amount of sheen depending on how many coats and how much buffing is done. It is a relatively soft floor finish and needs constant maintenance if it is to be kept looking good.
