We had our underfloor heating fitted to our conservatory. We considered this form of heating over several months, people would often tell us how expensive it would be to run. SSC flooring installed the heating and covered it with an insulated self levelling compound. The floor was then covered with vinyl by karndean. Since having this type of heating installed, we have already been through a full winter, the costs of the heating have not been as expensive as we were led to believe. The heating is easily controlled by a thermostat, just as you would your central heating. The conservatory is now used throughout the year, whereas before it was hardly in use during the coldest months of winter. We are very pleased that we decided to install this heating system, the installation was straight forward and completed in a short period of time. We would recommend anyone to consider this option if you are looking for an alternative to the radiator form of heating.
